I had a ridiculously good easter weekend. I'm not religious at all so this weekend was more about reconnecting with people and myself, catching up on some sleep, spending time with The Ironman and getting in some good training sessions in preparation for August. I'm happy to say that I ticked all the boxes...and then some.

Ate a ridiculous amount of these. |

Spent some time on the bike peddling along here. |
Cappuccino on the Strip - a mandatory mid-peddle stop. |
Spent plenty of time with the four-legged Ginger beast. |
Ate more of this. |
Clapped for the crazies running the Two Oceans Marathon. Also waited a lot in the cold on the side of the road. |
Ahem. Beat the Ironman on the tennis court in the mountains of Hout Bay. |
Enjoyed this view. |
Spent a considerable amount of time in here as a result of all the chocolate. |
Breakfast on Easter Sunday with friends. Splendid. |

I hope that you all had a wicked weekend with friends and family, and that you achieved whatever it was that you had hoped you would.
